The 8th Pharaoh of Lower Egypt, also known as the Missing Pharaoh and the Unnamed Pharaoh, was the (possibly) eighth and final pharaoh of the Kingdom of Lower Egypt. Probably the successor to the previous Lower Egyptian pharaoh, Mekh, nothing is known about this pharaoh as all records referring to him were either destroyed or are simply missing. This leaves a void in the reign of the last pharaoh of a kingdom, one many have filled with Menes, who is theorized to be the 8th Pharaoh, while others believe him to be Narmer, the 7th pharaoh of Upper Egypt. Regardless, whoever this pharaoh was, he was certain to have fought Narmer in his campaign to unite Egypt, and was either killed during the war or deposed when Narmer won.
