The Unification War for Ancient Egypt, alternatively known as the War to Unify EgyptNarmer's Conquest, and the Unification of Upper and Lower Egypt, was a unification war between Upper and Lower Egypt, and one of the earliest recorded conflicts of human history. Under the leadership of Narmer, Upper Egypt launched a military campaign into Lower Egypt, unifying the two states into a single entity, and marking the genesis of the Kingdom of Egypt.

It is unknown if Narmer's conquest of Lower Egypt is purely symbolic or an actual historical event. It is also unknown if Narmer is responsible, or if Menes was, or whether they are the same person. Regardless, the result was the establishment of the First Dynasty of Egypt, as well as the first unified Egypt.
