Totomi is a province in Shogun: Total War. Located in the central region of Honshu in the southwestern Chūbu region, Totomi Buzen is a province of moderate economic value, but despite being covered in lowlands, the soil is poor and agricultural output is not very high, limiting its potential for farmland: Samurai Archers however can be recruited in Totomi with higher honor than other units of its type. The province features a castle (called Hamamatsu Castle) due to it being a factional capital. In the Sengoku Jidai, 1530, 1550 and 1580 campaigns, it is controlled by the Imagawa, by the Tokugawa in the 1580 campaign, and in the Mongol Invasion campaign it is controlled by the Hojo. The province is along a coastline, making it possible to build a port. It is the faction capital of the Imagawa in the Sengoku Jidai, 1530 and 1550 campaigns, and the faction capital of the Tokugawa in the 1580 campaign.
Historically, Totomi is a representation of Tōtōmi Province. Today it is part of the Shizuoka prefecture.
