Tajima is a province in Shogun: Total War. Located in the southern-central region of Honshu in the northwestern Kansai region, Tajima is a province of very poor economic value, covered in highlands that make it easily defensible but with little land for farms, making it financially unsuitable for agricultural development: Shinobi however can be recruited in Tajima with higher honor than other agents of its type. In the Sengoku Jidai, 1530, 1550 and 1580 campaigns, it is controlled by the Rebels and Ronin, and in the Mongol Invasion campaign it is controlled by the Hojo. The province is along a coastline, making it possible to build a port. Castles built in this province will be called Toyooka Castle.
Historically, Tajima is a representation of Tajima Province. Today it is part of the Hyōgo prefecture.
