Survive the Siege
From Warpedia
Survive the Siege is a multiplayer gametype in Shogun: Total War introduced in Mongol Invasion. The point of the game is simple: the game is a siege battle, where one side is defending their castle from a siege, while the other is trying to take it. The defenders must destroy or rout the enemy army, and still be in possession of the castle's victory point, in order to be victorious, while the attackers must destroy the defending army and/or capture the victory point to win. Players can set a time limit, in which the defenders only need to hold off the enemy army until the time runs out, and the attackers must destroy the defending army or capture the victory point before the time runs out. Players can also set the number of men needed by the attackers to hold the victory point, with numbers customizable from 1 man to 60. It was one of four gametypes that was introduced with the Mongol Invasion expansion. It can only be played on multiplayer and custom battle maps featuring castles.
