Suruga is a province in Shogun: Total War. Located in the central region of Honshu in the southern Chūbu region, Suruga is a province of minimal economic value, but despite being covered in lowlands, the soil is poor and agricultural output is not very high, limiting its potential for farmland. In the Sengoku Jidai, 1530 and 1550 campaigns, it is controlled by the Imagawa, by the Takeda in the 1580 campaign, and in the Mongol Invasion campaign it is controlled by the Hojo. The province is along a coastline, making it possible to build a port. Castles built in this province will be called Fujigawa Castle.
Historically, Suruga is a representation of Suruga Province. Today it is part of the Shizuoka prefecture.
