Mino Province

Mino is a province in Shogun: Total War. Located in the central region of Honshu in the western Chūbu region, Mino is a province of moderate economic value, covered in highlands that make it easily defensible but with little land for farms, making it financially unsuitable for agricultural development: the province however does possess natural iron sand deposits, therefore making it an excellent site to build an armoury. In the Sengoku Jidai and 1580 campaigns, it is controlled by the Oda, by the Rebels and Ronin in the 1530 and 1550 campaigns, and in the Mongol Invasion campaign it is controlled by the Hojo. The province is landlocked, so ports cannot be built there. Castles built in this province will be called Inabayama Castle.

Historically, Mino is a representation of Mino Province. Today it is part of the Gifu prefecture.
