Mikawa is a province in Shogun: Total War. Located in the central region of Honshu in the southwestern Chūbu region, Mikawa is a province of moderate economic value, being covered in lowlands and possessing vast, rich soil for farming, including a river that runs through it that allows access to easily defensible crossing points. In the Sengoku Jidai and 1550 campaigns, it is controlled by the Imagawa, by the Rebels and Ronin in the 1530 campaign, by the Tokugawa in the 1580 campaign, and in the Mongol Invasion campaign it is controlled by the Hojo. The province is along a coastline, making it possible to build a port. Castles built in this province will be called Okazaki Castle.
Historically, Mikawa is a representation of Mikawa Province. Today it is part of the Aichi prefecture.
