Kozuke is a province in Shogun: Total War. Located in the central region of Honshu in the northeastern Kantō region, Kozuke is a province of high economic value, and despite being covered in highlands, it has many fertile valleys filled with rich lands, giving it a high potential for farmland. In the Sengoku Jidai campaign it is controlled by the Hojo, by the Uesugi in the 1530 and 1580 campaigns, by the Rebels and Ronin in the 1550 campaign, and in the Mongol Invasion campaign it is controlled by the Hojo. The province is landlocked, so ports cannot be built there. Castles built in this province will be called Minowa Castle. It is the faction capital of the Uesugi in the 1530 campaign.
Historically, Kozuke is a representation of Kōzuke Province. Today it is part of the Gunma prefecture.
