Kii is a province in Shogun: Total War. Located in the southern-central region of Honshu in the southwestern Kansai region, Kii is a province of minimal economic value, covered in highlands that make it easily defensible but with little land for farms, making it financially unsuitable for agricultural development: Warrior Monks however can be recruited in Kii with higher honor than units of its type recruited elsewhere. In the Sengoku Jidai and 1580 campaigns, it is controlled by the Oda, by the Rebels and Ronin in the 1530 and 1550 campaigns, and in the Mongol Invasion campaign it is controlled by the Hojo. The province is along a coastline, making it possible to build a port. Castles built in this province will be called Ota Castle.
Historically, Kii is a representation of Kii Province. Today it is part of the Wakayama prefecture.
