Kazusa is a province in Shogun: Total War. Located in the central region of Honshu in the southern Kantō region, Kazusa is a province of minimal economic value, but despite being covered in lowlands, the soil is poor and agricultural output is not very high, limiting its potential for farmland: Emissaries however can be recruited in Kazusa with higher honor than agents of its type recruited elsewhere. In the Sengoku Jidai campaign it is controlled by the Hojo, by the Rebels and Ronin in the 1530, 1550 and 1580 campaigns, and in the Mongol Invasion campaign it is controlled by the Hojo again. The province is along a coastline, making it possible to build a port. Castles built in this province will be called Mifunedai Castle.
Historically, Kazusa is a representation of Kazusa Province. Today it is part of the Chiba prefecture.
